Trash-to-Street-Art makes awesome content for social media

Hostlebro Foot Golf transformed an ugly slurry tank into a cool piece of street art and in the process generated a lot of excellent content for their social media page.  Check out the Facebook stats from a few days after the event:

Here’s the story of how it happened.


Here is what a typical slurry tank (gylletank) looks like.  Not really so pretty!

cans of paintShe bought twenty boxes of spray paint and invited some local graffiti artists to decorate the tank.  You can see the results of their handiwork here on her Facebook page.

I teach in my class on Digital Marketing that social media should be used to bring your fans inside your process and show them what you are doing.  This painting of an unused slurry tank is a perfect example.  Great work Helle!
